Heldmann Woodworking, founded in 1980 is based in Waterloo, Ontario. We specialize in custom veneer pressing using domestic and exotic veneers. Veneer components can be made to almost any size and configuration.
Quality, attention to detail, and artistic design are hallmarks of the Heldmann tradition which spans five generations. We take pride in every piece we create. Rigourous quality checks during each process ensure a top quality product is delivered each and every time.

Since the age of 14, weekends were the ritual working in my father's woodworking shop. At 15, this became a full-time vocation. As a fifth generation woodworker in the family, I continue the self-employed tradtion of father-to-son passed down knowledge. You could say I have over 150 years of woodworking experience veneered into my DNA.
In 2005, I assumed the business and am proud to carry forward the Heldmann tradition. Working side-by-side for 35 years with my father, a german trained Master Cabinet Maker, has allowed me to bring european style and quality not usually present in North America.
